As a former teacher I try to remind students the following things about their teachers:
1. Teachers are human and they WILL make mistakes. Go easy on them!
2. Teachers have a lot of students. You should really make sure you're getting what you need from your teacher as she/he will make sure you are getting all they've got.
3. Teachers have feelings too! Make sure you aren't blatantly texting and talking while she is giving a discussion. It's just plain rude!
4. They really do care about you and your future. The days of "the teacher doesn't like me" are over! Schools are getting rid of the teachers who aren't performing, so trust me, whomever you have is a quality teacher!
5. We know that some subjects are boring so when you see that you teacher has come into the classroom dressed as Abe Lincoln just to get her point across show a little appreciation! lol.
